A foreign brokerage report suggests that strong growth will be achieved by India over the next decade during which India will overtake Japan marginally in nominal GDP by 2028 and in turn will emerge as the world’s THIRD largest economy. In fact, as soon as by 2019 India will definitely cross France and Britain to emerge as the World’s FIFTH largest economy after Germany.
As a matter of fact, India has already overtaken Brazil and Russia to take the spot of second largest BRIC economy after China. The above mentioned report was based on the assumption that Indian economy grows at 10 Percent (in nominal US GDP) in the next decade.
